26VA bowl/float chamber - PeterN - 20-03-2024

Does anyone have a spare bowl like this that I could buy? Ruairidh, whose hand and bowl are featured in the photo , advises that the one I have is wrong and should be replaced with the type shown.
Many condolenses to Andrew whilst I’m on the Forum. That’s tough.

You could try Tony at Holmesdale 7s. Very helpful chap. He refurbishes many 7 parts to a very high standard and often offers complete carbs on ebay so must have a box of bits.

I have a bowl of the type in the picture, and I am just north of Cambridge. Call me on 07913434270.

Thanks Robert, I’ve messaged you

Very grateful to both Ruairidh and Robert for the advice and help. Robert's spare bowl is now fitted and the idle is much improved. Even better, the very annoying petrol weep under the bowl is now a thing of the past. Does anyone need a good bowl with the channelled bottom?

That is great news.

It's amazing how many are running around mismatched, well done for sticking in with it.

That was the type fitted to the Ford 8/10, wasn't it?
