Rear class holder - Tony Griffiths - 03-08-2022

Might somebody have a spare screw-on ring that holds the glass in a CAV/Lucas rear light? Like this...

Unscrewed and lost or nicked? I’d ask Stuart Joseph and when you fit the replacement put about an inch of gaffer tape at the bottom to stop it unscrewing. Don’t ask how I discovered that.

Yup, mine are wrapped all round with black tape...

Tony,
I have one which I can bring to the 18th August run.
Cheers ,
Dave.

Thank you, Alan. I've just been and attended to the other Chummy

A drop of the weakest loctite is all that is needed, I had one fall off the RP once.

Tony if Alan turns up sometime this week to collect a gear lever, I'll have a look to see if I have one when I'm in the spares shed. Its fairly likely

He will, Hedd. Just been hijacked with grandfather duties.
