Can we start a crowd funding?

There are two men in white coats at the door; I wonder what they want? ...

Now I get the rad thing. It is front wheel drive and the whole rad/engine/gearbox rotates.

Here is one running.

In the background there appears to be two more cyclecars. Now, would a V-twin JAP or Matchless engine fit?

Of course, a 2-stroke engine! The French tradition of cyclecars continues - the latest ones being pretty presentable - and no driving licience required (but they do use a diesel engine as found in concrete mixers, etc...).

Blimey! They're not cheap, you can buy two Dacia Sanderos for that sort of figure.

RE: 1924 Micron - Reckless Rat - 10-11-2019

The reason why the "voiture sans permit" are so expensive is due to a perverse rule in France. If you get banned for whatever reason you can't drive a car, bus, lorry or motorbike, but you can still drive a sans permit or a 50cc scooter as no licence is required for either. Those recidivists that have a problem with the glass trumpet tend to go for the VSP because they are usually still drinking and have balance issues with a two wheeler. Stay well clear!

Exactly my first thought, too!

But if you have lost your licence you cannot drive them!
There is a similar effort in our village (Warwickshire!) but it is a Ligier... I imagine no relation to the driver of the same name!
