I am in Brittany and the photo enclosed is Josie the 1936 Mk1 Pearl at Locquirec with the Compostella marker 1927 km !

Day two...

"The Col du Pourtalet was great. A long climb of about 25km but all done in 3rd gear. Some hazards to traffic though due to cows and horses wandering all over. No snow. Fine, dry and sunny."

Please keep those photos coming. Much more informative than the usual tourist promotion stuff. Villages at surprisng altitude. Despite mountains little here above half that height. Is the lake with tide out a hydro electric lake?
Like the unsealed roads. Low traffic through ones now hard to find here. The narrow Seven ideal on these. Presumably some corrugations. What does the RP make of those?
 It is on long grinds in 3rd when start pondering oil levels and substitute plain 1st/3rd motion bearing! More arduos than racing. Ideal for double helical non synchro if that is what you have.
