Incredibly we got through all that without mention of the grease type. The original greases dried. This formed a protective crust but also when neglected blocked nipples.
Most Seven grease points cannot be done too often (not the steering box).
Ideally the weight should be off and then on the springs. Not an imposition, esp with a hydraulic jack.
At least for later cars the clutch bearing reco is absurdly excessive.
Ditto hubs. If mainly just the bearings are packed on fitting no further attention necessary unless wading. The hub is sure to be apart within 20 years or 100,000 miles.
The original brass dome shaped nipples look great but the slightest mark and they cease to seal against the gun.

I have a tiny nipple on the end of the end of the steering rod (sorry don’t know the correct term? but on the offside from the steering box to the arm at rear of front hub). It’s too small to allow a modern grease gun onto it....any suggestions?
