Hi Chris,
The fellow I bought the car from in 1987 must have been not far off sixty at the time, so likely to be around ninety if he is still about. Even if he is, I don't feel inclined to trouble him with all this now. One thing I do recall is that he had amassed in his barn a number of Austin Sevens that had either been dumped at the roadside or gifted to him long ago, at a time when there was little interest in these cars.
