Ruby Restoration Thread - JohnD - 10-07-2019

For the last while there was a member on the forum restoring a Ruby, and he had a rather extensive set g photos of the progress along at each stage, these were all labelled etc

I cannot find this thread, does anyone have a link to this thread ?

Iam also looking for information on replacement floor panels, or photos of cars that have had news floors installed

RE: Ruby Restoration Thread - Nigel Ricardo - 10-07-2019

I think Geoff has had a few months off due to illness but has restarted work as he posted some new photos on the Austin Seven Facebook page last week.

RE: Ruby Restoration Thread - Geoff Halstead - 16-07-2019

I'm back after a near wasted 2018.
Suspected kidney stones, with associated pain, turned out to be a SEVERE bladder infection requiring 3 lots of antibiotics to cure, only cured by the last different lot.
Then it was 5 sessions in hospital undergoing all sorts of tests to find out what the cause was and to make sure nothing was damaged, the last being overnight under a general when urologist did a thorough inspection using a rigid catheter.
Thankfully all clear!
BUT the whole episode knocked me sideways such that grey matter and body refused point blank to cooperate/sync, and only recently feeling able to get back to working on the car, as mentioned by Nigel.

Geoff - Will update my thread soon with luck

Derek, Nick,
Thanks for your kind comments.

Geoff - Thinking about the NS inner wheel arch repair.

Thank you Geoff, the detailed photos and descriptions are what i was after to show some obscure details of the body.

Have you had to replace any of the floor panels yet?
