Ferry across the Mersey - Roland Alcock - 26-06-2019
HA7C are away for the week staying at Mold. We are considering a trip to Liverpool. Looking to park up at Wallasey or Birkenhead. And taking the ferry. The query is, is there reasonably safe parking. Before we take the ferry?

Apparently its all gone upmarket since my Dad was in charge of the ferries, back in the '60s.

I used to park my Seven all over Liverpool, it's dockland and Toxteth in the 1960s, it was always intact when I returned to it.

Ho ho ho! I remember when I lived in Liverpool in the 1950s that a car parked on a bomb site would lose its wheels with the hour!
