Exhaust advice - jboy964 - 08-06-2019

Has anyone experience of having an exhaust system made for a standard, unmodified 1928 car? The current system, purchased from a cherished supplier is fine but a bit too noisy. I guess that I am looking for an old school silencer box, rather than the straight through with fibreglass deadening, which is currently fitted. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I would take care if wanting to restrict noise that you don't also restrict performance, there were some silencers on the market a few years ago that seriously hampered the already meagre power output of a std seven.
