Rear Spring Question - Mark McKibbin - 20-04-2019 Apart from the camber are all rear springs the same length? RE: Rear Spring Question - Nick Turley - 20-04-2019 Yes I am pretty sure that is the case. RE: Rear Spring Question - Ian Dunford - 20-04-2019 Depends what you mean by the same length. The distance between centre of the vertical bolt hole and the centre of the spring eye is the same for all cambers. RE: Rear Spring Question - Mark McKibbin - 21-04-2019 Thanks Ian and Nick, I have some old Chummy springs that I wanted to give the springworks as an example rather than taking the car off the road so as they are the same length I can now do that. I was thinking of 2 1/2" camber and reasonably soft for my special that weighs about the same as a bare chassis. RE: Rear Spring Question - Ian Dunford - 21-04-2019 The sports springs I sell have two and a half inch camber. RE: Rear Spring Question - Mark McKibbin - 21-04-2019 Ian, If springs were not so heavy I would buy them from you, thanks for the confirmation about the camber. RE: Rear Spring Question - Ian Dunford - 21-04-2019 Sports springs weigh 5kg each.! |
