SU carb. - jonblob33 - 09-12-2018

Hi, having just acquired a H1 carb I am thinking about fitting it to my bog standard 1933 PD. The carb has a weighted piston & no spring. Can anyone suggest a safe starting point for needle & jet please? Also could I fit a spring with the weighted piston.
TIA. Kevin.

Hi Kevin,

See link below to my recent post 25th November on this subject - mine is post number 6. I can't see any reason why you would want to fit a spring as a weighted piston carb never had one. The jet should be the standard 0.090".
