Uncoupled Brake Measurement - Charles P - 11-08-2018
If anyone has an uncoupled brake chassis sitting around I'd be grateful for a simple measurement.
I'd like to know the position of the handbrake pivot mounting holes on the crossmember. Specifically how far they are below the top of the crossmember.

Hello Charles,
On my late 1926 chassis the distance from top of the X member to the hole centre is 1 3/4” exactly.
