Brake pedal pad and nut, V belt camshaft pulley and crossflow radiator sought
Posted by: Nick Lettington - 06-08-2023, 08:33 PM - Forum: Forum chat... - Replies (1)

Forgive my impudence at not posting in the proper place but I'm very aware that the main forum is more often visited than sales and wants.

I find myself in need of a few more small items for the Speedex wannabe. Can anyone help with a brake pedal pad and nut, v belt camshaft pulley (to drive a Ford export water pump) and a crossflow radiator of the sort fitted to a low fronted special? I'm hoping not to spend a kings ransom but have lots of bits to offer in exchange...

Chummy leather seat covers for disposal
Posted by: Tony Griffiths - 05-08-2023, 02:50 PM - Forum: Forum chat... - Replies (5)

I've just had the front seats in my Chummy recovered to their original specification The old covers were beautifully made in leather and are in excellent condition. If anyone would like them they're available for a £10 donation to the charity of your choice, plus postage of £6 - or collect. The squabs are about one-half the original height, so you sit just that bit lower. Phone 01298-871633.

Is the 'Report' button / function actually working?
Posted by: Jeff Taylor - 04-08-2023, 06:03 PM - Forum: Forum chat... - Replies (1)

I've tried to report 'Fresh Forex News' posted in the 'Management info box / What's coming up' section to admin as spam, but the 'Report' mechanism doesn't appear to be working properly - any thoughts on this from Admin?

Looking for a rare "lift the dot"
Posted by: jamesheath - 04-08-2023, 05:05 PM - Forum: Forum chat... - Replies (6)

Hi,

I'm trying to find two replacement "lift the dot"s  - I need double height ones to fit on to canvas. I seem to be able to find everything else, but not these....
Has anyone got any idea where I might find two of them?

Thanks!

  Hood strap Tourers
Posted by: David.H - 04-08-2023, 11:46 AM - Forum: Sales - Replies (3)

I had some 6"x 0.75"(nominal) 4.25" hole to stud black leather straps made up by a saddler for an AG tourer. They fit inside the hood frame. one end over a "mushroom" steel button and the other on to a Lift a Dot stud. (I forget the exact purpose, but they were essential!)
One has been briefly fitted the other is unused. I had several made as I had an AD as well and when I sold them I thought all the spare ones went with the cars, but I have found these!
My picture seems to be too big to download (heaven knows why!) but I can email a photo to interested parties! I will try again to put up on that will fi the ad!
the pair £10.00 incl post

  Another bargain lathe
Posted by: Tony Griffiths - 04-08-2023, 11:11 AM - Forum: Forum chat... - Replies (4)

If you have the time and transport, here is another absolute bargain of a lathe. Although a very low price, I know that the owner will take offers so it could well go for rather less: https://store.lathes.co.uk/adverts/for-s...-cub-lathe
